Update: Tome 1.13: Oropendola

What’s included in this update?
The Tome 1.13 Oropendola update introduces page aliases, German language support, and several bug fixes and improvements.
Page aliases
You can now create aliases for Arc, Chapter, and Scene pages, as well as for Memos, Map Pins, and Arcanes. This new feature allows a single element to be referenced in multiple ways.
To add an alias, click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of the screen. From there, you can add as many aliases as you need.

While writing your story, typing @ will display the main element along with all of its aliases.
If you select an alias, it will automatically redirect you to the associated main page.
This feature is especially useful for creating variations of the same term, such as singular/plural forms, gendered variants, alternative names, or titles.

It also helps prevent accidental spoilers or references to information that your players may not yet know. For example, if you have a page for Batman, you can add Bruce Wayne as an alias, or vice versa.
Tome Is now available in German
Starting with version 1.13, our software is now available in German. This marks the addition of a third supported language for our applications.
Please note that this translation only applies to the software itself and does not extend to our website, articles, or social media content.
Unfortunately, I (Camille) don’t speak German, so I wouldn’t be able to provide the level of quality needed for such a translation on my own.
For the software translation, we worked with a professional translator. Marino, our Lead UX Designer, also has a strong command of German. That said, we remain open to your feedback and suggestions if you spot any translations that could be improved.
Improvements in Tome
Several improvements have also been made to Tome, including:
- Tags now use fully standardized icons and colors throughout the software.
- When a divider is deleted, the previous divider automatically opens if it was previously collapsed.
- The software no longer crashes when copying and pasting content containing Tome tags between Tome and Lore, in either direction.
- A Toolboard can now be duplicated.
