The goal of the Amsel Suite is to develop a suite of interconnected software tools that address the many needs of roleplayers, and to help them tell stories together as easily as possible.
The Amsel Suite will start with two tools: Tome, a storytelling dashboard for roleplayers; and Lore, a customizable worldbuilding solution.

Tome is a tool for writing your roleplaying stories, chapters, and scenes, in a user interface tailor-made for non-linear storytelling. Thanks to its custom browsing system, Tome allows you to get all the information you need whilst never losing track of the story flow.

Lore is a complete worldbuilding solution, to help you create your own universe in detail. With its many templates about varied subjects like characters, places, mores, and many more, Lore can help you fight writer's block by guiding you through the process.

Lore is fully customizable, and you can create your own templates to adress your specific needs. It also manages your maps, charts, and even allows you to create the landing page you need for your world. Click here for more information about Lore.

There are many tasks associated with running a roleplaying session, and not everyone needs the same things to adress them. We wish to help people write and tell their stories in many ways, and we want the tools we develop to be fully compatible with one another.

A lot of things you write about in Tome can also benefit from a counterpart in Lore. By setting up your Tome story as happening within a Lore world, you'll be able to refer to a Lore detail within your story, and link a Tome page with its Lore counterpart. Tome is made to allow you to focus on the story, whilst keeping the detail-rich Lore data just a click away.

Our goal is to allow you to have access to our software without having to pay a fee every month. Owning your file on your computer also makes it accessible even when the internet is down, and guarantees everything you write will remain as confidential as everything else on your disk.
There are some upsides to having your files online, though, and we're aware of them. Working together on the same project, sharing your work and accessing your files from any device is awesome, and we might create solutions for this in the future.

Our campaign will be live on Kickstarter starting on the 7th of November.

For now, Tome and Lore will only be available as a reward on our upcoming crowdfunding campaign. Once development is finished, everyone will be able to buy them in digital format.
However, some crowdfunding-specific extras will only be available during the campaign.

If you participate in our upcoming crowdfunding campaign, you may get both tools for as little as €35 (even less for early birds). After the campaign, the pack will be available for €44.99.

Tome and Lore are both feature-rich, and we understand some things can look pretty advanced for beginners. However, we designed our tools to have a smooth learning curve: you can start with the basics, and learn how to use other tools as you go.
Your story and world can be amazing even without some of the fancier tools - those will be there if you need them later. When you do, rest assured: we worked tirelessly to make them as intuitive as possible!

All Amsel Suite tools will be available on Windows, MacOS and Linux.
In the future, we would like to design versions for tablets and smartphones.

Of course! The Amsel Suite is made to help you in your roleplaying adventures, and can be used alongside any VTT of your choosing, import any images you made, etc.

No. Once you've downloaded and registered your software, you can work offline.

No. Licenses for Tome and Lore are valid for life.
