Update: Lore 1.12: Cactus wren

What’s included in this update?

The Lore 1.12 Cactus wren update introduces a simplified page creation process, improved divider organization, and several new features. It also includes fixes for a few issues reported by the community.

Create an element from a tag

You can now create a page, diagram, or map directly from a tag.

For example, while writing a city page, you may want to add its queen. Simply type an @ tag with the queen’s name, and a shortcut will appear, allowing you to create the page instantly.

Note: this feature does not support template creation, it is limited to pages, diagrams, and maps.

Sort dividers

You can now sort pages within a divider in ascending or descending alphabetical order.

It is also possible to drag and drop an entire divider along with its content. Please note that the divider must be collapsed for this to work.

Remove lines in diagrams

Two new options are now available for removing lines between diagram nodes.

Previously, you had to click on a line and press the “Backspace” key.

Now, a trash can icon appears when selecting a line, and you can also use the “Delete” key on your keyboard.

Create a “draft” tag

Want to create a page from a tag but unsure which attributes to assign? You can now create a draft tag.

This feature lets you keep an element as a draft before turning it into a proper tag, so you can continue writing without interruption.

Improvements in Lore

We have also fixed several reported bugs and made a few minor improvements. For example, the tag search now closes more easily than before.
